We use a structured approach to design and develop a website for your business and which encompasses seven steps. This rigorous approach is needed to ensure that you'll be delivered a working, commercially robust site.

The critical parts of this exercise are:

Defining the business objectives

We've said it before and we'll keep saying it. Without a clear understanding of the business objectives which the new site must achieve then we're on a slippery slope to failure. This therefore is arguably the most crucial step of all.

Defining the Customer experience

Your site will have different audiences with different needs. Here we make sure that we understand who those audiences are and what their needs are. We use our own approach to defining user 'scenarios' and designing an optimum 'pathway' through your site to ensure your visitors get what they need quickly. That way they're much more likely to visit again.

Designing the solution

The look and feel of your site is a key factor in deciding how successful your web presence will be in meeting your key objectives. Even the most intelligent of sites will not hold peoples attention if the design is not eye catching and relevant. In addition, it is important that your website carries across the corporate identity of your company and is easy to use.

Development and Testing

Once the site has been coded we subject it to three levels of testing to make sure it meets the requirements we've agreed and that it will work right first time.

Site Launch and Ongoing Management

The site goes live now, supported by online promotional activities (e.g. search engine announcements and directory listings) and appropriate offline promotional activities. This is the time when attention must turn to realising the benefits we planned for at the early stages of the project.
